I simply created a new Instagram page and added the main photo of their digipak as a profile photo. I added links to the music video and this website to the page's biography. I also added a lot of information about the music, tour dates, album release dates and multiple links to the music video on post captions, as well as The North Face and Adidas @. I tried promoting the Instagram page on my personal account to get more followers, as well as promoting the fake artists that I created. I also added different templates to the digipak in CD and vinyl packets, as well as different merchandise describing the product and thhe sizes available.

HOW HAS THE RESEARCH INFORMED YOUR CREATIVE CHOICES?
I constructed the Instagram page with clips and teasers of the music video, photos of the digipak, and information on tour dates (promoting the album, the music video and the industry). I also created fake partnerships with The North Face and Adidas (as they were the clothes that they were wearing) and also added photos of a similar aesthetic to the music video, as well as behind the scene photos. I was inspired by J.I.D.s Instagram page as he mixes all of the elements, personal posts where you get an insight into their life (the behind-the-scenes photos in my case) and promotional photos (the digipak, tour dates, video teaser and fake partnerships). I also tried sticking to a key theme like J.I.D does, by incorporating the same red font colour in the digipak, tour date information, the opening scene of the music video and at the end of the teaser trailer.

MERCHANDISE:

I used Canva to produce a couple of merch items for my social media page. Inspired by the merch that I researched from J.I.D.'s Instagram page. I designed the front side of a black T-shirt with the album cover on the front and the design with the tour dates on the backside. Similarly to this previous merch piece I also designed a black hoodie with the album cover at the front and a small one at the upper part looking like a logo. On the back side, I added the tour dates and locations of the album 2023 tour and added the sizes available, and prices and told the audience where to access the merch.

DIGIPAK PROMOTION:

Again, being influenced by Kuncks Twitter page and J.I.D.'s social media pages, I promoted the album as much as I could. I added photos of all of the digipak covers (front, back and inside cover) as well as the digipak in different templates such as the digipak opened with all of the covers showing and the digipak in a CD and Vinyl case. I added all of the release dates of the albums in the caption as well as in the Instagram bio for audiences to see it clearly. I think that promoting the music of the artists is the most important factor in the entire social media page as it is where the artists have gathered their target audience from. Giving constant updates of the digipaks such as countdown days for the album release and information on where to preorder the album can also be a good way for fans to interact with the artist.

PARTNERSHIPS:

Something else that I researched from other digipaks is that artists collaborate with well-known brands and do partnerships promoting their brands. I did this with Adidas and The North Face as they were already brands that I used for the video and added a caption with the brand @ as well as tagged the official brand's Instagram page in the photo for audiences to be one click away from looking at that brand's page.  I think this is very important part of an artist as they are brands that fans from their genre usually use and it is a great way for advertising products. 

MUSIC VIDEO AND TOUR PROMOTION:

As well as promoting the album I think it is very important to promote other products of the artists such as the music video and the tour. For this, I created a teaser trailer for the music video for audiences to have a sneak peek of the video itself before watching it on YouTube. I also added links to the YouTube channel on the individual posts for it to be interactive for the fans and easy to access. Furthermore, I also created a tour poster for the 'Barrio de la Timba' album around the entire country of Spain, as the target audience is Spanish and included dates and information.

BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE:

Finally, I also thought it would be important to add behind-the-scenes footage of the production of the music video to give the audience and fans an intimate insight into the way the video was made and into the artists' lives. This creates a strong trust bond between the artist and fan and makes the posts feel a lot more personal instead of only professional, which is another aspect that I researched when researching hip-hop artists' social media pages. This also gives a coherent style linking to the aesthetic of the music video and can also make fans instantly recognize the music video because of the visual elements such as the outfits and locations used in the music video, which will also make them want to watch or perhaps rewatch the music video after seeing the behind the scene footage.
